God Wants to Heal Our Relationships

“This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: ‘In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.’”
Isaiah 30:15
So often we try to fix everything by doing more, pushing harder, or carrying it all on our own. This verse reminds us of a different way. Real strength can be found in slowing down, looking inward, and learning to trust again.
Trust is difficult when you have been hurt, and most of us have been. Inner healing can be an important part of moving forward into what God has for us.
What if healthier relationships started there—with less striving and more awareness, honesty, and emotional maturity? What if we listened to hear the other person instead of listening only to prove a point or defend ourselves? What if we listened to understand?
Unhealthy relationships can affect emotional stress and physical well-being. If you are ready to grow in how you show up in your relationships, I invite you to take the Emotionally Healthy Relationships course. It is a self-paced course based on the work of Pete Scazzero and the Emotionally Healthy Discipleship program.
I found this course, along with Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, helpful in my own healing journey.
