Our Biblical Foundation
Statement of Faith
Fight For Our Health is a Christ-centered whole-person healing community. These beliefs form the foundation of our mission, teaching, content, and community.
Truth with compassion
We believe true healing and wholeness are found in Jesus Christ. We seek to serve the whole person through Biblical truth, prayer, wise education, caring community, and practical support.
We welcome people with compassion while remaining clear about the beliefs that guide this community. We do not expect every person who enters our community to begin in the same place, but everything taught or presented under the Fight For Our Health name must remain consistent with this Biblical foundation.
Our foundation
These essential beliefs shape how we understand truth, identity, relationships, healing, and life together.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and trustworthy Word of God. Scripture is our final standard for truth, doctrine, conduct, and the way we understand human life, identity, relationships, healing, and wholeness.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 · Psalm 119:105 · Hebrews 4:12
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is holy, loving, just, merciful, and worthy of our complete trust and obedience.
Deuteronomy 6:4 · Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived without sin, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return.
John 1:1-14 · Colossians 1:15-20 · 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 · Acts 1:9-11
Salvation
We believe every person has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation is offered by God’s grace and received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned through good works, personal growth, health practices, or human effort.
Romans 3:23 · Ephesians 2:8-9 · Acts 4:12 · Romans 10:9-10
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells and transforms believers, leads us into truth, produces spiritual fruit, gives spiritual gifts, and empowers us to live in obedience to God.
John 14:16-17 · Galatians 5:22-25 · 1 Corinthians 12:4-11
Human Worth and Identity
We believe every person is created in the image of God and possesses inherent worth and dignity. Our deepest identity and worth are found in God, and every person should be treated with compassion, truth, patience, and respect.
Genesis 1:26-27 · Psalm 139:13-16 · James 3:9
God’s design for marriage
We believe God created marriage as a sacred covenant between one biological man and one biological woman. We believe sexual intimacy was designed by God to be expressed only within this marriage covenant.
Because Scripture is our final authority, Fight For Our Health holds to this Biblical definition of marriage and sexuality. At the same time, we believe every person must be treated with dignity, compassion, kindness, and respect.
Genesis 2:18-24 · Matthew 19:4-6 · Ephesians 5:22-33 · Hebrews 13:4
God cares about the whole person
We believe God cares about our spiritual, emotional, mental, relational, and physical well-being. All true healing ultimately comes from God, whether it occurs immediately, unfolds through a process, comes through wise care and practical support, or is experienced through the strength and grace He provides in suffering.
We reject the idea that illness or delayed healing automatically indicates a lack of faith. We do not promise healing outcomes or elevate health practices above the authority and sufficiency of Christ.
Psalm 103:1-5 · Mark 12:29-31 · James 5:13-16 · 2 Corinthians 12:8-10
Faith in community and practice
The Church and Christian Community
We believe followers of Jesus are called to participate in Christian community, encourage one another, pray for one another, bear one another’s burdens, and use their gifts to serve others. Fight For Our Health is not intended to replace the local church.
Hebrews 10:24-25 · Galatians 6:2 · 1 Peter 4:10-11
Christ-Centered Spiritual Practice
We believe spiritual truth, freedom, identity, and transformation are found in Jesus Christ. We do not incorporate or promote occult, New Age, manifestation-based, energy-healing, divination, or other spiritual practices that conflict with Scripture, even when those practices are presented using wellness or Christian terminology.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 · Colossians 2:8-10 · John 14:6
Truth, grace, and a sincere commitment to Christ
We seek to hold firmly to Biblical truth while treating people with grace and compassion. We desire to remain humble, teachable, and faithful as we help people pursue healing, growth, and wholeness in Christ.
